Experience the magic of the Inca Trail without committing to a four-day trek. This two-day adventure boards the train at Ollantaytambo and begins hiking at Km 104, following the original stone path through cloud forest to the ruins of Wiñay Wayna.
Cross the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) for your first breathtaking view of Machu Picchu, then descend to Aguas Calientes for a comfortable hotel night. Day two brings a full guided tour of the citadel before returning to Cusco by train.
Ideal for families and travelers with limited time who still want to earn their arrival at the Lost City on foot.

Day 1
Early hotel pick-up (3:45 a.m.) and train to Km 104. Hike through Chachabamba and up to Wiñay Wayna (2,750 m). Lunch, then continue to Inti Punku for the first view of Machu Picchu. Bus down to Aguas Calientes for dinner and hotel overnight.

Early bus up to Machu Picchu for a 2-hour guided tour of the citadel. Free time, then return to Aguas Calientes. Afternoon train to Ollantaytambo and transfer to Cusco.
