The five-day Choquequirao itinerary adds a full exploration day at the citadel, allowing you to reach the upper terraces with their famous llama-shaped stonework and panoramic views over the canyon. The extra time eases the physical demands of the steep Apurímac circuit.

Cusco to Capuliyoc by road, then descend to Chiquisca camp in the Apurímac Canyon.

Full-day exploration of Choquequirao: main plaza, upper terraces, ceremonial platforms, and llama wall. Overnight near the ruins.
